Exhibition Flower & Design

Third-year students of the Flower & Design programme at MBO Westland will present their exam arrangements in the form of a bridal show on Wednesday 5 June. Teacher Anja Olijhoek says: “This exam exhibition is the icing on the cake for our students. They can show what they have to offer by making beautiful arrangements and bridal decorations.”

Bridal show
During the exam exhibition, the students will show what they have learned in recent years and how they have incorporated the assignments of various clients into their bridal works. Part of the exhibition is a bridal show with a catwalk show; The students show the most beautiful bridal decorations, but also other arrangements such as table decorations and frame bouquets.

Preparations of talented floral designers
De studenten zijn druk bezig met voorbereidingen en trots op wat ze gaan maken. Olijhoek: “Alle studenten hebben inmiddels twee gesprekken gevoerd met hun klant om wensen en ideeën te bespreken. Er zijn schetsen, moodboards en sfeerbeelden gemaakt én er is nagedacht over de invulling van de catwalk show. Een mooi voorbeeld is bijvoorbeeld één van onze studenten, Melissa Junier. Zij heeft een collega als model gevraagd en heeft een jurk, visagist en fotograaf geregeld!”

Everyone is welcome
Everyone is cordially invited to come and have a look and get to know the young floral designers. In addition to the dazzling show, there will be coffee, tea and cake in style!
